Hotels near Lower Parel — and Worli, the mill district
Lower Parel is the office district the old mills became: Peninsula Corporate Park, One Indiabulls, Kamala Mills, the Phoenix towers. It sits between South Mumbai and the Sea Link, which makes it the one place in Mumbai from which both Nariman Point and BKC are reachable.
What’s in Lower Parel
The textile mills of Lower Parel became Mumbai’s third business district in the 2000s: Peninsula Corporate Park, One Indiabulls Centre, Kamala Mills, the Phoenix Palladium towers and a long run of media, finance and consulting offices. Worli, next door, holds corporate headquarters along the Sea Face and the southern end of the Bandra–Worli Sea Link.
The important thing: it’s the hinge of the city. From here Nariman Point is a run south down the coast and BKC a run north over the Sea Link, which is why a trip that covers both ends of Mumbai is easiest from Lower Parel or Worli.

In the towers. The St. Regis, above Phoenix Palladium — walk to most Lower Parel offices.
Worli, for the Sea Link. The Four Seasons when BKC or Bandra is part of the week.
Parel, for scale. ITC Grand Central for conferences, and for the hospital and Dadar side.

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai
Quieter 5-star on the Worli side, close to the Sea Link approach — the better base when BKC is also on the agenda. 202 rooms.
In Lower Parel itself. The St. Regis is above Phoenix Palladium in the middle of the towers; the Four Seasons at Worli and ITC Grand Central at Parel are five to fifteen minutes away. Nariman Point hotels add 30 minutes each way, BKC hotels more.
Yes — that's its main advantage. Nariman Point is 20 to 40 minutes south, BKC 25 to 45 minutes north over the Sea Link. If a trip covers both, Lower Parel or Worli saves the most time.
About 20 km. Via the Sea Link and the Western Express Highway it's 40 to 70 minutes depending on the hour; the Coastal Road has shortened the run from Worli when it's open.
ITC Grand Central at Parel is nearest the hospital belt around Parel and Dadar; the St. Regis is a ten-minute drive. For a family staying several nights, tell us the hospital and we'll arrange a weekly rate at the closest practical hotel.
