Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
Samyati.in acts as a hotel booking intermediary. We book hotels on your behalf at net rates. All cancellations and refunds are subject to the individual hotel's cancellation policy, which we communicate to you clearly before confirming any booking.
2. Cancellation Policy — General Principle
Every hotel booking comes with its own cancellation policy — Free Cancellation, Non-Refundable, or Partial Refund. We advise you on the best rate type based on your travel certainty before you confirm. The cancellation terms are shared with you in writing before payment.
3. Free Cancellation Bookings
For bookings made on a free cancellation rate:
- Cancellations made before the hotel's deadline (typically 24–72 hours before check-in) are fully refunded.
- No cancellation fee is charged by Samyati.in for free cancellation bookings.
- Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 working days, depending on the hotel and bank processing times.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
For non-refundable rates (which are typically 10–20% cheaper):
- No refund is possible once the booking is confirmed.
- In exceptional circumstances (medical emergencies, natural disasters), we will approach the hotel on your behalf for a goodwill waiver — however, this is subject to the hotel's discretion and cannot be assured.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance for non-refundable bookings.
5. Partial Refund / Amendment
Some hotels allow date changes or early departures with a partial penalty. We will communicate the exact penalty amount before processing any amendment.
6. Samyati.in Service Fee
Our booking service fee, if applicable, is non-refundable once a booking is confirmed. This will be clearly stated before you confirm any booking.
7. No-Show Policy
If you do not check in on the arrival date without prior cancellation, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full amount is forfeited, as per hotel policy.

Please mention your booking name, hotel, and dates. We will process the cancellation with the hotel and confirm the refund amount within 24 hours.
9. Disputes
Any disputes relating to refunds shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
