Samyati was started by people who’d spent years inside the Indian travel industry and watched the same pattern repeat: a couple looking for a quiet anniversary ends up at a noisy banquet hotel because the listing photo looked nice. A corporate team booking a Mumbai stay pays 22% more than the rate the hotel would have given them direct.
None of this is the traveller’s fault. The information they need simply isn’t in the listings. It’s in the heads of people who know the properties.
That’s the company. We don’t bundle flights. We don’t sell packages. We don’t take listing fees. We pick the right hotel for your specific trip and we book it at the right rate — on WhatsApp, by a real person, with a clean GST invoice.

We will sometimes tell you the OTA is cheaper for a specific date. Then we’ll help you book through the OTA. That’s the long game.

I started Samyati because I got tired of watching people pay more and get less — just because they didn’t know who to call.
I have spent years inside the Indian travel industry. The pattern never changed: individuals and businesses overpaying for hotels — not because better options didn’t exist, but because nobody was guiding them honestly. OTAs are built to maximise revenue per click. Travel agents are built to push packages with the highest commission. Neither is built to pick the right hotel.
