Hotels in Aerocity — Delhi's airport district

Aerocity is a planned hotel district beside Terminal 3, with a dozen hotels, the Worldmark office towers and its own Airport Express station. For a fly-in meeting, a conference or a transit night it is the obvious answer; for a week in central Delhi it is not.

What’s in Aerocity

Aerocity was built on the airport’s land to give Delhi a hotel district beside Terminal 3. It has a dozen hotels from the JW Marriott and Andaz down to ibis and Holiday Inn Express, the Worldmark office towers with their restaurants and bars, and its own station on the Airport Express line. Trips here are fly-in meetings, conferences that draw delegates from several cities, and the night before an early international flight.

The important thing: Aerocity is near the airport and Gurugram, not near Delhi. The centre is 45 to 60 minutes by car at peak; the Airport Express makes it twenty, but only to New Delhi station.

Three ways to choose

Conference or fly-in meeting. JW Marriott for the ballroom and the scale; Andaz when the hotel should impress.

Transit night. Novotel, Aloft, Holiday Inn or ibis — a bed, a shower and five minutes to the terminal.

Project teams on a per-diem. Lemon Tree Premier, ibis and Novotel in volume; we hold blocks across two hotels if one is full.

Common questions

About five minutes by car; the district sits on the loop road beside the terminal. There's no covered walkway from any hotel — a prepaid taxi, the hotel car or a ride app covers it. Terminal 1 is about fifteen minutes.

For Cyber City and Udyog Vihar, yes — 20 to 40 minutes down the highway, and you avoid Gurugram's hotel rates on a busy week. For Golf Course Road or Sohna Road, stay in Gurugram; those are 45 minutes or more from Aerocity.

For a day or two, with the Airport Express to New Delhi station in twenty minutes. For a week of meetings in Chanakyapuri or Connaught Place, stay in the centre — the car journey is 45 to 60 minutes each way at peak.

The JW Marriott, for its 1,210 sq m pillar-free Grand Crystal Ballroom and eight meeting rooms. The Pullman–Novotel complex handles large groups at two rate levels. We quote venue, rooms and transfers together.

Yes — that's the most common Aerocity booking we make. We hold the block, manage the rooming list as flights change, arrange transfers from Terminal 3 and invoice each company separately if needed.
