Hotels in Noida — and Greater Noida

Noida is the NCR's eastern work district: IT and media in Sector 62, 63 and Film City, the commercial centre at Sector 18, and the campuses along the Expressway towards Greater Noida and the India Expo Mart. It is the far side of Delhi from the airport, which changes how you plan the trip.

What’s in Noida

Noida is the Uttar Pradesh side of the NCR and its eastern work district. Sector 18 is the commercial centre — malls, the older offices and the Blue Line metro. Sectors 62 and 63 are the IT belt, with the Noida Electronic City metro at the end of the line. Film City in Sector 16A holds the news channels and studios. Along the Noida Expressway, from Sector 125 to 135 and on into Greater Noida, are the newer campuses, the universities and the India Expo Mart, the NCR’s largest exhibition venue.

The important thing: Noida is the far side of Delhi from the airport and from Gurugram. Sixty to ninety minutes to the terminal, two hours to Cyber City at peak. Trips to Noida should sleep in Noida.

Three ways to choose

Sector 18, for most trips. Radisson Blu MBD for the default, the Hyatt Regency for the senior visitor, DoubleTree and Courtyard at a lower rate — all with the metro and the malls close by.

Sector 62, for the IT belt. Radisson Sector 62, Holiday Inn Sector 59, Ginger Sector 63.

The Expressway and Greater Noida. Aloft Sector 134 for the Expressway campuses; Crowne Plaza and Radisson Blu Greater Noida for the Expo Mart and the universities.

Common questions

In the Sector 62 belt itself — Radisson Sector 62, Holiday Inn Sector 59 or Ginger Sector 63 put you minutes from the IT offices and the Noida Electronic City metro. Sector 18 hotels are 15 to 30 minutes away; Delhi hotels an hour.

The far side of the city — 35 to 45 km and 60 to 90 minutes by car at most hours, via the DND Flyway or the Noida Expressway and the Ring Road. For a one-day meeting with a flight either side, it is often better to stay in Noida the night before and leave early.

Yes — the Blue Line from central Delhi reaches Sector 18, Botanical Garden and, on its branch, Sector 62 (Noida Electronic City). The Aqua Line runs from Sector 51 along the Expressway side to Greater Noida. The Magenta Line links Botanical Garden to south Delhi and towards the airport side.

Greater Noida — the Crowne Plaza is beside the Expo Mart and the Radisson Blu a short drive. Noida's Sector 18 hotels are 30 to 45 minutes; Delhi hotels an hour and a half at exhibition peak. We hold exhibitor blocks early; Expo Mart weeks fill fast.
