The St. Regis Mumbai — the tower above the mill district
Marriott's St. Regis rises above Phoenix Palladium on Senapati Bapat Marg: 395 rooms including 39 residential suites, four restaurants, a rooftop bar and the Astor Ballroom. The luxury base for Lower Parel's offices, and the one Mumbai address from which both Nariman Point and BKC are reachable.
The St. Regis Mumbai is the tower above the Phoenix Palladium mall in Lower Parel — opened in 2012 as the Palladium Hotel and re-flagged as a St. Regis in 2015. It is the luxury hotel of the mill district: 395 rooms including 39 residential suites with kitchens, four restaurants, a rooftop bar, and about 3,900 sq m of event space led by the Astor Ballroom, which takes 1,000 for a reception.
It suits executives with meetings in Lower Parel's towers — Peninsula Corporate Park, One Indiabulls, Kamala Mills, the Phoenix offices — who can walk; companies hosting a conference or a large reception in the city; and travellers whose trip splits between South Mumbai and BKC, because Lower Parel is the hinge between the two.
What it isn't: an airport hotel or a cheap base. The international terminal is 45 minutes to an hour away; for a transit night, stay by the airport. And the St. Regis rates reflect the building — for a plain Lower Parel working week at a lower rate, ITC Grand Central at Parel is the practical choice.
Lower Parel is the office district the mills became, and the St. Regis sits in the middle of it with the mall below. Nariman Point is a run south down the coast, BKC a run north over the Sea Link — which is why a trip that covers both ends of Mumbai is easiest from here.
Distances that matter
- Lower Parel offices — Peninsula, Indiabulls, Kamala Mills: A few minutes' walk or drive
- Phoenix Palladium / High Street Phoenix: Below the hotel
- Lower Parel station: About 10 minutes' walk
- Bombay Stock Exchange, Fort: About 20 to 40 minutes
- Nariman Point: About 20 to 40 minutes
- Bandra Kurla Complex: About 25 to 45 minutes via the Sea Link
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport: About 13 km — 45 to 70 minutes, traffic depending
Getting there
The hotel entrance is on Senapati Bapat Marg at 462, beside the Phoenix Palladium mall. From the airport, the Western Express Highway and the Sea Link to Worli bring you to Lower Parel in 45 minutes on a good day; the Coastal Road helps when open. We can arrange a hotel car at arrivals with the booking.

The specific things we do for this hotel
- Events priced with the rooms. The Astor Ballroom is why companies hold their Mumbai conferences and receptions here. We quote the venue and the room block on one sheet and manage the rooming list, so you negotiate with one person.
- Both ends of Mumbai from one hotel. If your trip has a morning at the BSE and an afternoon in BKC, we'll tell you Lower Parel is the right base and put the timings in writing — Nariman Point 20 to 40 minutes south, BKC 25 to 45 minutes north over the Sea Link.
- GST invoicing done right. We take your company's legal name and GSTIN at booking so the invoice is issued correctly first time. At this rate level the stay falls in the 18% GST slab, which a GST-registered company can claim back.
- One person through the stay. A suite to extend by a week, a guest added to the block, an invoice to split between two entities — you message one person who already knows the booking.
Worli, about 2 km
Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai
Quieter 5-star on the Worli side, close to the Sea Link approach — the better base when BKC is also on the agenda.
Parel, about 3 km
ITC Grand Central
ITC's large hotel at Parel — the practical choice for a Lower Parel working week at a lower rate, and for the hospital side.
About 13 km — 45 minutes on a quiet morning, up to 70 at peak, via the Western Express Highway and the Sea Link. For an early international departure, allow the full time or ask us about an airport hotel for the last night.
Yes — that's Lower Parel's advantage. Nariman Point is 20 to 40 minutes south, BKC 25 to 45 minutes north over the Sea Link. If a trip covers both, the St. Regis or the Four Seasons at Worli saves the most time.
About 6,318 sq ft — up to 784 theatre-style or 1,000 for a reception — with ten further venues, about 3,900 sq m in all. We quote the venue and the rooms together for a conference or a large reception.
Usually within about 5% for the same room type on the same date — sometimes a little higher, sometimes lower. What you get with us: a proper GST invoice, early check-in handled, and one person accountable for your stay.
Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 12 noon. If you land early, tell us and we'll ask the hotel to hold a room from your landing time; if there's a charge we'll tell you before you confirm.
