Trident, Nariman Point Mumbai — the Marine Drive tower for Nariman Point
Oberoi Group's 35-storey business hotel on the tip of Marine Drive, with Nariman Point's offices, the Bombay Stock Exchange and Churchgate within walking distance. The default for a South Mumbai working week with a sea view.
Trident, Nariman Point is the business hotel of South Mumbai: 550 rooms over 35 floors at the end of Marine Drive, sharing a complex with The Oberoi, with the Nariman Point office towers, the Air India building and the Bombay Stock Exchange a short walk or drive away. It has been the Trident since 2008 and before that a Hilton and a Sheraton; the building dates from the early 1970s and the upper floors have the city's best sea view.
It suits executives with meetings in Nariman Point, Fort, Ballard Estate or at the BSE, who want to walk rather than cross the city; companies hosting a conference or an AGM in South Mumbai, using the Regal Room and the rooftop venue; and visitors who want South Mumbai itself — the Gateway, Colaba, the art district — within a short drive.
What it isn't: convenient for the airport or BKC. Both are 45 to 75 minutes away in normal traffic and more at peak. If your meetings are in BKC, stay in BKC; if you have an early international flight, we'd move you to an airport hotel for the last night.
Nariman Point is the southern tip of the business district, and the hotel sits where Marine Drive turns into it. Everything that makes South Mumbai South Mumbai — Churchgate, Fort, the Oval, Colaba — is on foot or a ten-minute drive; everything north of Worli is a different proposition.
Distances that matter

Getting there
The hotel entrance is on the Nariman Point side of the Oberoi complex, at the end of Marine Drive. From the airport, the Western Express Highway and the Sea Link to Worli, then down the coast, is the usual route; the Coastal Road has cut the run when it's open. We can arrange a hotel car at the arrivals gate with the booking.

The specific things we do for this hotel
- South Mumbai trips planned around the geography. We confirm where your meetings are before suggesting this hotel: for Nariman Point, Fort or the BSE it's right; for BKC or the airport we'll tell you so and suggest the alternative. The commute goes into the confirmation in writing.
- Conferences with the rooms on one quote. The Regal Room takes up to 600 theatre-style and the rooftop 175, which is why South Mumbai AGMs and investor days land here. We quote the venue and the room block together and manage the rooming list.
- GST invoicing done right. We take your company's legal name and GSTIN at booking so the invoice is issued correctly first time. At this rate level the stay falls in the 18% GST slab, which a GST-registered company can claim back.
- One person through the stay. A late flight, a sea-view upgrade to confirm, an invoice to split between two entities — you message one person who already knows the booking.

They share a complex at the end of Marine Drive but are two hotels: the 35-storey Trident tower and The Oberoi beside it. Trident is the business hotel; The Oberoi is the luxury step up. We book both — tell us the budget and the traveller.
