Andheri East holds a large share of Mumbai's offices, the MIDC industrial estate and SEEPZ, and it sits right beside the airport. That combination makes it the most practical base for a work trip that involves both meetings and a flight.
What’s in Andheri East
Andheri East covers a lot of ground: the MIDC industrial estate, SEEPZ, the office towers along the airport road, and the approach to both airport terminals. Most work trips here are office visits, vendor meetings and project stays.
The important practical point: Andheri East is big. A hotel that looks close on a map can still be 30 minutes away at 9 AM. Send us the office address rather than the area name.
Two ways to choose
Stay in MIDC if your meetings are inside the estate or at SEEPZ. The commute is short, and you can walk to some offices.
Stay on the airport side if you’re flying in and out, or your meetings are spread across the suburbs. You trade a slightly longer morning drive for a much easier airport run.

If your meetings are inside the MIDC estate or SEEPZ, stay in MIDC itself — the commute is minutes instead of half an hour in traffic. If meetings are spread across Andheri East and you also have a flight, the airport-side hotels are the better base.
For anything on the western suburbs side, yes: you're near the airport, near a lot of offices, and roughly halfway to BKC. It's a poor base for South Mumbai meetings, which can take well over an hour each way.
