Sofitel has a ballroom of about 270 sq m, seating roughly 224 banquet-style, alongside its meeting rooms. Trident's eight meeting rooms total about 1,040 sq m with the largest at about 2,440 sq ft, which suits training and board meetings more than banquets.
Both are inside BKC and close. Trident is about 500 metres from the consulate, which is why it's often chosen for visa appointments.
