Sofitel Mumbai BKC opened in 2012 as Accor's first Sofitel in India, in the middle of Bandra Kurla Complex. The design is deliberately French — a contrast to the functional business hotels around it — and the food and beverage side is a genuine draw rather than an afterthought.
It suits client-facing trips where the hotel is part of the impression, events and dealer meets that need a ballroom rather than a boardroom, and longer BKC stays where the restaurants and lounge matter by the third evening.
What it isn't: the cheapest way to sleep near your BKC meeting. If the trip is one night and purely functional, the other BKC hotels do the job for less fuss.
The hotel sits in Block G of BKC, minutes from the district's offices, banks and the Jio World Convention Centre, with the airport a short run up the Western Express Highway.

Getting there
Approach from the Western Express Highway side for airport arrivals. For events, tell us the guest arrival pattern and we'll ask the hotel to staff the desk accordingly — a 40-person group checking in together is very different from four arrivals an hour.

It works — there's an outdoor pool and a spa — but BKC is an office district with little to walk to in the evening. For a family weekend, the Bandra West or Juhu hotels are a better fit.
