Hotels in Banjara Hills — and Jubilee Hills

Banjara Hills is where Hyderabad's business was before HITEC City: corporate offices on Road No. 1 and 2, the big hospitals, the restaurants and the city's best-known hotels. For meetings in the centre, a hospital visit or a family trip, it is still the address.

What’s in Banjara Hills

Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills are Hyderabad’s established upmarket district — corporate offices along Road No. 1 and Road No. 2, the big private hospitals, GVK One and the restaurants and cafés that the tech district still drives in for. The hotels here are the city’s oldest names, which is why senior visitors and family occasions default to them.

The important thing: it’s not the tech district. HITEC City and Gachibowli are 10 to 15 km west and 30 to 60 minutes at peak. If your week is at Mindspace or DLF Cybercity, stay there and come to Banjara Hills for dinner.

Three ways to choose

Business in the centre. Taj Krishna for the default, Taj Deccan or Hyatt Place for a lower rate — all on or beside Road No. 1.

The occasion. Park Hyatt or Radisson Blu when the stay is an event: a wedding guest block, a milestone, a visiting chairman.

Hospital and family visits. Holiday Inn Express or Lemon Tree for several nights near Apollo or Care, with a weekly rate when the stay runs long.

Planning tips

  • Meetings in HITEC City too? Take the Red Line from Punjagutta to Ameerpet and the Blue Line onward, or allow the full hour by car — see hotels near HITEC City.
  • Older business district: for Begumpet, Somajiguda and Secunderabad, The Park or ITC Kakatiya are closer than Banjara Hills itself.
  • Team visits: for 10+ rooms ask for a meeting room in the same hotel — see our group booking guide.
