The Oberoi, Gurgaon opened in April 2011 at Udyog Vihar Phase V, beside its sister hotel the Trident, and was named the World's Leading Luxury Hotel that same year — the first Indian hotel to take the title. It is a low, contemporary building around a reflecting pool, with a 930 sq m green wall and a glass-and-steel lobby on the fifth floor; the opposite of the city's towers, and the point of it.
It suits senior executives and visiting leadership with meetings in Cyber City, Udyog Vihar or the Golf Course Road towers, who want the quietest luxury hotel in north Gurugram; board meetings and small, high-stakes events using the Grand Ballroom and the business centre; and the stay where the hotel is the message — a client dinner, a partner visit, a milestone.
What it isn't: the practical choice for a plain working week or a large conference. The Trident next door shares the location at a lower rate; the Leela Ambience up the road has three times the event space. The Oberoi is for when the visit calls for it.
Udyog Vihar is the office estate at the Delhi border, and the Oberoi sits at its Cyber City end, with the DLF towers and Cyber Hub a ten-minute drive, the airport fifteen to twenty-five, and the Golf Course Road corporate towers twenty to thirty-five. Everything in north Gurugram is close; the south is not.

Getting there
The hotel is at 443 Udyog Vihar Phase V, off the Delhi–Gurugram highway at the Cyber City end. From the airport, drivers come down NH-48 and turn into Udyog Vihar before the Ambience exit. We can arrange an Oberoi car at arrivals with the booking, which is the way most guests here arrive.
